PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbide shaped product capable of enabling excellent characteristics such as moisture-absorbing and releasing properties, heat insulation properties and nasty smell-adsorbing ability, possessed by the carbide to be sufficiently utilized, and having not only a high mechanical strength level but also shape-maintaining properties. SOLUTION: This carbide shaped product is obtained by sticking and binding a mixture of a carbide granular powder having 400-1,300 deg.C carbonizing temperature and a grain size passing a standard sieve having 50-200 mesh, with a natural fiber-opened product, with a hot-melt type adhesive separated out on the surface of the carbide granular powder. |
