PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcapsule which makes color gradation hard and is sensitively responsive to heat during recording an image, a method for manufacturing the microcapsule and a heat-sensitive recording material using the microcapsule. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a microcapsule is to add an organic solvent containing an electron-donative dye precursor and a microcapsule wall precursor to an aqueous water-soluble polymer solution and emulsify the mixture and then polymerize the microcapsule wall precursor to form a microcapsule wall. In addition, the method is characterized in that at least one kind of monoamine represented by ammonia and/or CH3(CH2)n-1NH2 (n is an integer of 1-4) during capsulation reaction. Further, the heat-sensitive recording material is characterized in that it has at least a heat-sensitive recording layer, which contains the microcapsule. |
