<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling bag capable of being expanded as needed. SOLUTION: An expansible bag has a rigid peripheral main frame 10 and a rigid peripheral sub-frame 20. Peripheral continuous gussets 36 comprising a flexible material are connected to two peripheral frames and the mutual opposite wall panels 12, 14 of the peripheral main frame 10 are joined to the mutual opposite wall panels 22, 24 of the peripheral sub-frame by bridge assemblies 50. Each of the bridge assemblies has a pair of the mutually parallel slide rails 52 attached to the peripheral main frame and the freely releasable latch 56 joining the rigid bridge plate 54, which is attached to the peripheral sub-frame 20 and received in the rail in a freely slidable manner, to the wall panel of the peripheral main frame at least one position where the peripheral sub-frame is fixedly held at a position spaced apart from the peripheral main frame.</p> |
