PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable both radial scan and sector scan, to enable radial scan for the whole periphery of 360 deg., and restrain attenuation of an ultrasonic signal while the protection effect of a protective cover is secured enough. SOLUTION: A radial scan part protective cover 20b is formed of a material having the quality of transmitting ultrasonic waves, and connects and fixes between the tip of a support pipe 30 and a support member 21 in the state of covering the side of the tip side of an insert part 2 of a driving shaft 14 and a radial scan ultrasonic transducer 8b. A sector scan part protective cover 20a is formed of a material having the quality of transmitting ultrasonic waves, and fitted to the support member 21 in the state of covering the tip side of the insert part 2 of the support member 21 and a sector scan ultrasonic transducer 8a. |
