PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an on-ice performance from the beginning of use. SOLUTION: A tread rubber is formed of the short fiber-mixed rubber obtained by disposing nonmetallic short fibers in thickness direction. The tread rubber has a ratio of E1/E2=1.1 to 4.0 where E1 is a complex modulus of elasticity in tread thickness direction at 25 deg.C and E2 is a complex modulus of elasticity in tire circumferential direction and a duro-meter A hardness at -10 deg.C of 45 to 75 deg.. A rough surface layer 9 having a surface roughness in the range of 30 to 500μm in 10-point average roughness and having irregular K decreasing the falling down of short fibers (f) is formed on a tread actual ground-contact surface 2S side. |
