PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen economical burden on a user by making possible to perform print selectively on a print tape, e.g. a label tape, or a print sheet, e.g. a plain paper. SOLUTION: The print cassette 50 comprises an ink ribbon cassette case 51 having a recess 52 for containing a print head 31 on the side part and containing an ink ribbon 71 such that a part thereof passes through the recess 52, and a print tape cassette case 61 being coupled or separated freely with or from the case 51 and having a hole 63 for leading out a print tape 75 such that a part thereof passes through the recess 52. A print tape passing hole 53 for introducing the print tape 75 is made in the side of the ink ribbon cassette case 51.
