PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dephosphorizing efficiency and to reduce the producing quantity of slag without using halogenide when the dephosphorization in molten iron is executed. SOLUTION: In the dephosphorization in the molten iron adding lime and iron oxide and/or gaseous oxygen into the molten iron, the dephosphorizing treatment is executed by using 5-50 kg/t dephosphorized slag containing 2-15% (P2O5) and 35-65% (CaO).
