PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin resin composition for calendering, especially a polyethylene resin composition, a film made thereof and its production process. SOLUTION: The objective polyolefin resin, preferably a polyethylene resin for calendering is characterized in that the extension viscosity values measured by a twin-capillary rheometer at 160 deg.C and 180 deg.C at a shear rate of 10,000 (1/sec) are within the range of 4,120-26,300 Pa.s, the die swell ratio determined by a twin-capillary rheometer at 160 deg.C at a shear rate of 10,000 (l/sec) is 1.0-2.3 and the melt tension measured by a capillary rheometer at 180 deg.C and a take-up speed of >=5 m/min is >=1 gf.
