PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yohimbine action enhancer that can enhance the action of yohimbine. SOLUTION: This yohimbine action enhancer comprises a mixture of two or more kinds of creosote components selected from the resoles including creosote, guaiacol, 4-ethylguaiacol, creosol, cresols of o-cresol, p-cresol and the like, phenol derivatives selected from phenol, xylenols and the like. The resultant analeptic agent using the same, and enteric stay promoter are effective for a variety of the symptoms that need promoting the absorption of the intestinal juice in human and other animals, for example, for treatment of hypersensitive colon syndrome, abdomen dysphoria, abdominal full-consciousness and dehydration. This enhancer is further effective for manifestation of the maximum pharmacological action of a suppository.
