PURPOSE: A method for transmitting a message between processors in a mobile switching center is provided to offer the convenience of system maintenance by adding TOD(Time Of Delay) information to a message header so that the tracking of the message can rapidly and exactly be carried out in the event of system failure. CONSTITUTION: In transmitting a message between processors, a message header basically stores a packet type(21), a start number(22), a transmit number(23), a receive number(24), a message length(25), a signal ID(26), a destination address(27), a source address(28), a reserved field(29) and TOD information(30). The message header is controlled by a function block in charge of an OS(Operating System) and IO in the case of transmitting and receiving a message. If necessary, a message number field and a TOD field can be dumped into a specific memory area and displayed. |
