摘要 PURPOSE: An apparatus for conveying an optical pick-up is to reduce load applying to a current supplying unit to increase a responding speed of an optical pick-up conveying operation, thereby stably controlling the conveying operation of the optical pick-up. CONSTITUTION: A guide rail(210) supports an optical pick-up to form a conveying path in a radial direction of a disk. A magnet(243) generates magnetic force for conveying the optical pick-up. A pair of yokes are disposed to be parallel with the guide rail to form a magnetic path together with the magnet. A pair of coils are disposed at both sides of the optical pick-up to be coupled to the yokes. A current supplying unit(250) supplies current to the coils to generate electromagnetic force for conveying the optical pick-up with the magnetic force generated by the magnet and the yokes. The current supplying unit has two channels connected to each of the coils to respectively supply the current to the coils. In the optical pick-up, a fixing optical system(230) is fixed to a base(200). A moving optical system(220) is disposed to be moved along the guide rail.
