PURPOSE: An optical transmission tube is provided to realize a clear quality and not affect a near tube at constructing a flat screen or a tube panel. CONSTITUTION: An optical transmission tube is a tube or a light ray transmission member, which is capable of reflecting all rays of light incident in an incident angle less than a zero and in 90 deg. more than a threshold angle through a specular surface. A tube is hollow and has a predetermined index of refraction. The specular surface(S) is prepared in the tube(42) and reflects rays of light incident inside one or more times. A lens is additionally prepared at one end of the tube(42), and a material of the lens is a transparent resin. A cover having a predetermined index of refraction is additionally prepared at the other end of the tube(42), and a material of the cover is a transparent resin.
