PURPOSE: A test method and an apparatus for a voice announcement system in a full electronic switching system are provided to remarkably save the development period and costs of a voice database by discriminating the normal operation possibility of information broadcasting data using a PC before installing the voice database in an exchange. CONSTITUTION: A key operating part(10) generates various key signals by the operation of a user and transmits them to a microcomputer(20). The microcomputer(20), based on the key signals inputted through a key operating part(10), generates various corresponding control signals. A voice database operating part(30) executed by the control of the microcomputer(20) is composed of a software to test a voice information broadcasting system and the message data of various text forms. A data conversion part(40) converts text type data, outputted by the execution of the voice database operating part(30), into voice data and provides the converted data to the microcomputer(20). A D/A conversion part(50), receiving the converted data from the microcomputer(20) converts the data into analog data and outputs the converted data to a voice output part(60). The voice output part(60) outputs the analog-converted voice data so that a user can listen.
