摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the possibility of deforming a deformation of deformable portion resulting from static change caused by relative displacement between a supported body and a supporting body, reduce its load and simplify work for installing a support. SOLUTION: A support 16 having a deformable portion 18 formed of super high damping rubber is installed on a supporting plate 214 fixed to a bridge pier 12. The contact faces of the supporting plate 214 and a support lower block 212 are sliding faces 230. The upper face of the supporting plate 21 contains a fluid filter 232 consisting of an oil tank 218, a piston 220 and a pipe 214. The fluid filter 232 follows static change due to the expansion of the bridge girder 14 to prevent shearing deformation of the deformed portion 18. The fluid filter 232 doss not follow dynamic vibration between the bridge girder 14 and a bridge pier 12 in earthquake, but vibration energy operates on the support 16. The deformed portion 18 which is free of shearing deformation in static change is subjected to sufficient sheating deformation in dynamic vibration to absorb vibration energy.
