PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the manufacturing method of a deformed ring capable of improving the yield of the material. To improve yield of a material in manufacturing for a deformed ring. SOLUTION: The figure shows in order with the arrows the process of the manufacturing method. A raw material 1 is cut into a columnar material 2 of specified size. A high temp. material 3 heated is upset in an upsetting process and the bottom section 61 of the roughly formed material 5 is pulled out from the material to form a ringed material 6 while using the upset material and the roughly formed material 5. From the ringed material 6, a ring 7 is formed by rolling. 71 is a support roller for the outer circumference, 72 is a support roller for the inner circumference, and 73 is a support roller for the upside and downside surfaces. The ring 7 is put in a die to make a roughly formed article 8 formed by forging, and then a finished article 9 is formed by finish forming. 81, 91 are outer circumference burrs of respective articles. 82, 92 are inner circumference burrs of respective articles. Lastly a complete article 10 is formed by deburring and trimming. In this way, by the above ring formation by rolling before forging, a production method excellent in the yield can be obtained.
