PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grasping type opening/closing nozzle which can be safely and certainly operated even when connected and elongated by a joint. SOLUTION: When a nozzle 15 is fitted into a joint receiving part 5, the end face of the joint receiving part 5 is brought into contact with the end part of a stem 27. The stem 27 is pushed by the end face of the joint receiving part 5 and retreats and turns to be in a waiting state at a prescribed position where a stopper 35 rides on a sliding surface 17a of an opening/closing lever 17. Subsequently, when an operator grasps the opening/closing lever 17, the opening/closing lever 17 is rotated to generate a space 45 between a nozzle body 13 and the opening/closing lever 17. The stopper 35 is forcedly dropped into the space 45.
