PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric characteristic measuring device preferable for use in measuring the distribution conditions of fat and hydration of the body, capable of measuring the bioelectric impedance more safely and accurately with in a simple constitution even is the signal ground potential varies with respect to the frame ground (earth ground). SOLUTION: The measuring device 100 of this invention is connected to respective surface electrodes Hp, Lp, Hc, Lc by four measuring cables 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d having a coaxial structure formed by a double shield wire. The measurement cables 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d are respectively equipped with signal wires 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d, signal ground wires 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d, and frame ground wires 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d from the center. The signal ground wires 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d are connected to the ground level GND of each circuit in the measuring device 100, and the frame ground wires 13a, 13b, 13c, 13d are connected to the ground of a case of the measuring device 100. |
