PURPOSE: Provided is a novel dietary fiber for functional beverage containing novel food resources, Psyllium seed husk as a main ingredient which enhances activity of useful bacteria in small intestine and eliminates feces contained in the long intestine efficiently by supplying fiber and fly ash into human intestine. Therefore, it is useful in the field of food processing and healthy food. CONSTITUTION: A preparation method of novel dietary fiber for functional beverage containing Psyllium seed husk as a main ingredient comprises the following steps of: (a) washing Psyllium seeds; (b) grinding them with a grinder; (c) separating Psyllium seed husks with air blower; (d) shattering them into pieces to obtain powder having a particle size of 40-60 mesh ; (e) separating the powder having a particle size of less than 40 mesh; and (f) weighing and packaging them with vibrator.
