PURPOSE: A secondary battery is provided which easily connects an outside lead of the battery and an anode drawing-out terminal and has an outside washer to insulate the outside lead and a cap plate. CONSTITUTION: The secondary battery comprises: (i) a can(4) which receives an anode, a cathode, a separator and an electrolytic solution; (ii) a cap plate(6) which is coupled to and sealed up with an opening of the can and comprises an anode drawing-out terminal(10) and a safety edge(8); (iii) an outside washer(180) which is installed on the upper part of the cap plate and is made of transparent resin; (iv) an outside lead(12) which is electrically connected to the anode drawing-out terminal and is extended to the opposite side of the safety edge being able to be identified by permeating the outside washer, where the can is electrically connected to the cathode and the anode is electrically connected to the anode drawing-out terminal.
