摘要 PURPOSE: An air-lift pump for controlling the quantitative flow rate is provided which can constantly maintain a discharging amount without attachment of a separate flow rate control device in spite of the water level variation of a flow rate adjusting vessel when lifting sewage and wastewater. CONSTITUTION: In an air-lift pump (1) equipped with an air inlet pipe (10), an air-lift pipe (20) connected to the lower end of the air inlet pipe (10) and a horizontal pipe (30) connected to the upper end of the air-lift pipe (20), and used for lifting sewage and wastewater from a water tank of which water level is changed depending on time, the air-lift pump (1) comprises an overflow hole (45) opened upwardly and formed at the upper end of the air-lift pipe (20) so that a large amount of water is overflown to be returned to the water tank; a discharging hole (32) formed at the end part of the horizontal pipe (30), wherein a cross-sectional area of the discharging hole (32) is small for giving the flow resistance to the discharged water so that a quantitative water is lifted; and a branch pipe (47) formed on the air inlet pipe (10), wherein one side of the air inlet pipe (10) is connected to the air-lift pipe (20), and other side of the air inlet pipe (10) is infiltrated into an aeration tank (60) so that an amount of air flown into the air-lift pipe (20) is dissipated toward the aeration tank (60), thereby controlling the flow rate of discharging water, and wherein an infiltration depth (L) of the branch pipe (47) inside the aeration tank (60) is the same as or shallower than a maximum infiltration water level Hmax during a maximum water level of a flow rate control tank, and deeper than a lifting possible minimum water level of the flow rate control tank Hmin.
