PURPOSE: A parking brake system improves marketability by making it possible to repair a lining without the detachment of a propeller shaft and to adjust clearance of the lining without separate clearance adjusting tool. CONSTITUTION: A parking brake has a parking brake device(20) comprising a case(21), an inner side and an outer side shoes(22) and a rotary cam(23). The case(21) is installed to one side of a drum(13) and has one end fixed to a transmission and the other end covering the drum(13) on outside and inside. The inner side and the outer side shoes(22) are fixed to the case(21) movably on the inner and the outer surface of the drum(13) respectively. The rotary cam(23) is connected to a cable(2) to give moving force to the inner side and the outer side shoes(22) to the inner side and the outer side surface of the drum(13) and installed to the case(21) rotatable.
