PURPOSE: A vehicle ventilation system is provided to achieve a comfort indoor environment and improved user convenience by allowing the blow hole to be automatically shut when the outdoor air is contaminated and open when the indoor air is contaminated. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle ventilation system comprises an open/shut-off valve(4) mounted at a blow hole(2) connected between the indoor and outdoor area of the motor vehicle; an actuator(8) for actuating the open/shut-off valve; a sensing unit for sensing the pollution level of the outdoor air and the indoor air and whether a door glass(6) is open/closed; and a control unit for driving the actuator in accordance with the signal applied from the sensing unit. The sensing unit includes a first sensor(12) mounted at the outer surface of the motor vehicle so as to sense the pollution level of the outdoor air, a second sensor(14) mounted within the vehicle so as to sense the pollution level of the indoor air, and a third sensor(16) mounted beneath the door glass so as to sense the position of the door glass. The control unit includes an A/D converter for converting analog signals of first to third sensors into digital signal; and a CPU for operating the actuator in accordance with thus-converted digital signal.
