PURPOSE: A real time traffic condition information system is provided to obtain detailed traffic information by outputting advanced traffic information on a graphic screen, and thus to control the traffic flow smoothly. CONSTITUTION: A traffic information center(11) performs a traffic volume information collection/distribution/management function, and receives/manages a position information of all vehicles at all times, and transmits this information to a computer wirelessly and outputs it on a graphic screen. A data format conversion is performed as to the traffic information in order to transmit the traffic information with a wireless communication network by coding the traffic information to the wireless communication network. A geographic information data base(14) needs a geographic information and a graphic information in order to display the traffic volume with a color. A GIS application S/W(15) is a window environmental software to use the geographic information, and displays a traffic jam path and a speed according to the position variation of the vehicle.
