PURPOSE: A heater coupling method and a coupling flange are provided to reduce working hours and manufacturing procedures by press-coupling the sheath heater to the flange. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of forming a coupling portion(23) protruded integrally from the top of a flange(20) having a coupling screw tube(21) arranged at the bottom surface of the flange, forming a groove(24) at the contact portion between the coupling portion and the flange, and coupling a sheath heater(10) to a coupling hole(22) formed at the coupling portion; and applying pressure in axial direction to a surface(25) arranged along the outer periphery of the coupling portion, such that the coupling portion is contracted by the pressure applied to the surface(25) and the coupling hole is contracted, thus allowing the sheath heater to tightly contact the outer periphery of the sheath heater coupled into the coupling hole.
