PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide a film material for a greenhouse for a fruit tree, capable of preventing water from pouring on a fruit tree in the rain, further capable of preventing fruit-cracking, the development and spread of disease, and the damage caused by high temperature. SOLUTION: This film material for the greenhouse for the fruit tree is obtained by uniformly punching ventilation holes having 1.0-3.0 mm diameters in a polyethylene or polypropylene film having >=60μm thickness and >=6 m width so as to have a proportion of 300-8,000 mm2 total area per 1 m2 film, or further forming non-hole parts with adequate widths at the center part of the film in the width direction, and the parts contacting with holding pipes at the extended time in a house installation.
