PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overturning type waterproof door which is simple in structure, unnecessary for any large storage space, reliable in operation, and capable of reducing the maintenance. SOLUTION: A pit 2 is provided on a passage 1 of a structure, a turnable door body 4 is provided in the pit 2, a rubber bag body 15 is mounted on a rotary shaft 14 side of the door body 3, a pressure feed pipe 27 is connected to the bag body 15, air or water is poured into the bag body 15 using a compressor 20 or a tap water unit 22, and the bag body 15 is inflated by the water pressure or the pneumatic pressure to erect the door body 4. The inflating force of the bag body 15 works over the whole width direction of the door body 4 to support the door body 4 against the hydrostatic pressure of water stored outside, and the structure of the door body 4 can be simplified. Further, the pit 2 is of a simple structure, and the manufacturing cost can be reduce irrespective of the watertightness.
