摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel fine powder reduced in heat shrinkage when fired, improved in oxidation resistance and with the surface modified by perovskite-structure barium titanate, a nickel fine powder with the surface modified by a precursor for barium titanate and a method for manufacturing them. SOLUTION: A surface-modified nickel fine powder with a precursor for perovskite-structure barium titanate deposited on the surfaces of the individual nickel fine particles, a nickel fine powder with the surface modified by the perovskite-structure barium titanate, with the perovskite-structure barium titanate deposited on the surfaces of the individual nickel fine particles and with the weight increase of the fine powder when heated in the atmosphere at 400 deg.C for 2 hr controlled to <=1/2 of that of the untreated simple-substance nickel fine powder and the method for manufacturing them are provided.
