PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic rubber having well-balanced coldproofing, oil resistance and heat resistance along with a good low temperature compression set, and also provide a composition comprising same. SOLUTION: This acrylic rubber is composed of 0.1 to less than 5 wt.% of ethylene monomer units, 98.9 to 83 wt.%, in total, of alkoxyalkyl acrylate units having an alkylene group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and, if necessary, alkyl acrylate units having an alkyl group having from 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and 1 to 12 wt.% of monoalkyl maleate units having an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and/or monoalkoxyalkyl maleate units having an alkylene group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms and an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms. |
