PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for repairing a coat surface flaw part of a polyethylene coated corrosionproof steel material which enables easy repair of a coat flaw part even in water without using large-scale equipment and can maintain the reliability of corrosion protection for a long period. SOLUTION: The circumference of a flaw part and the surface of a steel material 1 are brushed or sanded. A filler 4 of underwater-set type resin or the like is filled in the flaw part. The flaw part wherein the filler 4 is buried is covered with a polyethylene sheet 5. The periphery of the polyethylene sheet 5 is welded to a polyethylene coat 3 by an ultrasonic welder 6.
