PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure of a muntin in an opening of a partition simply, quickly, beautifully, and surely installing a muntin or a horizontal muntin in the opening of the partition. SOLUTION: An engagement hole 9 is bored in either one of opposite faces of the mutually opposing horizontal muntins 3, 4; a slit 8 opened to either face of front/rear of the horizontal muntin 3 and facing to the front/rear direction is provided in the other opposite face; a projection 11 provided in one end of the muntin 10 whose whole length L1 is set to approximately same to or a little smaller than the sum L4 of the distance L2 between the opposite faces and the depth L3 of the slit 8 is fitted in the engagement hole 9; a projecting piece 12 provided in the other end of the muntin 10 is fitted in he slit 8; and a plug body 13 preventing the upward movement of the projecting piece 12 is fittedly inserted between the projecting piece 12 and the inner end of the slit 8 from the front/rear of the horizontal muntin into the slit 8.
