PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure which permits not only to lower manufacturing costs but also to maintain close dimensional tolerances by improving structural strength of axis-like projection and to prevent generation of fine metal powders. SOLUTION: In a metallic plate with projection for fitting parts wherein an axis-like projection 12 is integrally formed for fitting the parts and additionally an extension 16 acting as a retainer due to deformation caused when the parts are mounted on the projection 12 is also integrally formed on the projection 12, the projection 12 is formed in cylindrically protruded configuration by compression molding using press machine and having a losing section 14 which closes the tip side of the projection 12, and also the extension 16 is formed in protruded configuration integrally and consecutively with the projection 12 provided with the closing section 14 by compression molding using press machine.
