PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat for vehicle which can surely protect an infant, improve the safety, and easily form a child seat with excellent seating quality and sense of security for the infant. SOLUTION: The seat 1 for a vehicle is provided with a seat body 7 comprising a seat cushion 2 and a seat back 3. The seat cushion 2 is divided in U-shape comprising a divided seat part 5 on the forward side of the vehicle and a remaining U-shaped part 6. The divided seat part 5 is turnable between the condition in which an adult can be regularly seated (a seat position) and the condition in which the divided seat part 5 is erected (the child seat position), and a child seat 10 is formed in a space between the divided seat part 5 in the erected condition and the seat back 3 as the divided seat part 5 is turned. This child seat 10 is formed of a foldable cloth, and when the divided seat part 5 is in a stored condition, it is folded and stored on a bottom surface side of the divided seat part 5.
