PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition having excellent low heat build-up, improved fracture characteristics, abrasion resistance and processability. SOLUTION: This rubber composition comprises (A) a modified conjugated diene-based polymer obtained by reacting a polymerization activity end of a conjugated diene-based polymer with an imino group-containing hydrocarbyloxysilane compound of specific structure, (B) 10-85 pts.wt. of silica based on 100 pts.wt. of the modified conjugated diene-based polymer and (C) 1-20 wt.% based on the silica of a polysulfide silane coupling agent of general formula (R5O)3Si-A2-Sm-A-Si(R6O)3 (R5 and R6 are each a 1-3C alkyl group; A3 and A3 are each a 1-9C alkylene group; m is an average value and is a real number of 2-3).
