PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work-assisting utensil which is very convenient, and has an extremely high commercial. SOLUTION: This work-assisting utensil comprises a belt 1 which is fixed to the hip section, and a seat body 2 which is provided at a specified location of the belt 1. The seat body 2 is constituted in such a manner that the bottom surface 2a of the seat body 2 is set on the ground when a user, to whose hip section, the belt 1 is fixed, squats, and the buttocks of the user are mounted on the upper surface 2b.
