PURPOSE: A folding saw is provided to ensure safe handling of the saw by protecting a user against sawteeth of a saw blade to be exposed when the saw is folded, in the folding saw of such a construction that both of the saw blade and a handle are or either of these is curved. CONSTITUTION: A protecting cover(4) into which the sawtooth line(1a) part of the saw blade(1) can be inserted is arranged in a storing groove(3) of the handle(2) having an almost U-shaped section, into which the saw blade(1) is stored. The protecting cover(4) is freely pulled out of and retracted into the storing groove(3), so that the sawtooth line(1a) which might protrude from the storing groove(3) to be exposed when the saw blade is folded, is covered. The protecting cover(4) is preferably of such a structure that it is urged by a spring and thereby certainly works to wrap the sawtooth line(1a) when the saw blade(1) is closed.
