METHOD FOR ELIMINATING DIOXIN BY USING NA-SUPPORTED ACTIVATED CARBON

PURPOSE: A method for eliminating dioxin/furan which are contained in exhaust gas by using Na-supported activated carbon is provided to shorten adsorption time. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of preparing powdery activated carbon being supported with 1.2 to 10.9wt.%, preferably 3.5 to 7.9wt.% of NaOH, based on the weight of activated carbon; injecting the Na-supported activated carbon into exhaust gas/spraying the Na-supported activated carbon in the form of slurry phase; collecting and disposing the activated carbon powder contaminated by dioxin/furan.
