PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing unit with a card reader having a good appearance and being small. SOLUTION: Medical piping and wiring connection terminals 5a-5c are housed in a frame 2 to be mounted on a wall 16, a card reader 160 having a card inserting/ejecting member 191 is fixed on the frame 2, the card inserting/ejecting slot of the card inserting/ejecting member 191 is formed so as to be positioned below the frame 2, a cover 3 for covering the frame 2 is mounted to the frame 2 so that the connection terminals 5a-5c and the member 191 of the card reader 160 may be exposed from the cover 3, a liquid crystal monitor 164 is mounted on the frame 2 via a mounting means 165, and connection terminals 5b for connecting visual signal lines to a tuner 161 and the liquid crystal monitor 164 and the connection terminals 5b for a remote controller 167 are housed in the frame 2. In this way, the housing unit 1 with card reader can be made to have a compact constitution, and the visual appearance thereof can be improved. |
