PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items for connecting right and left radiators and a water pump, the internal structure of which is roughly shown in Fig. and simplify the internal structure of the water pump in a cooling device for an engine incorporating the separation type radiators. SOLUTION: One end of the crosswise connection pipe 37 arranged across the engine in the cross direction is connected to the water supply pipe 32 attached to the tank 31 on the outlet side of the left radiator 20, and the other end is connected to the joint pipe 36 attached to the tank 35 on the outlet side of the right radiator 21. The water sent from the left radiator 21 flows passing through the crosswise connection pipe 37 and unites with the water on the side of the right radiator in the tank 35 on the outlet side. A water pump 40 sucks the water collected in the tank 35 through a water supply pipe 41 from the water supply pipe 38 and forcibly feeds it to the water jacket of an engine.
