PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instructive apparatus for rearing plants and fishes which enables a knack and experience for rearing them to be easily learned by appealing to a feeder concerning rearing factors in rearing foliage plants and tropical fishes. SOLUTION: Sensors for sensing important factors in rearing plants and fishes are built in the instructive apparatus for rearing the plants and fishes and words of the plants and the tropical fishes based on information from the sensors appeal to the feeder in place of the plants and the tropical fishes to prevent the withering of the plants and the dying of the tropical fishes. Hands and/or feet of a stuffed toy modeled after a human being, a plant, a fish, an animal, or the like in which the instructive apparatus for rearing plants and fishes is built are worked to speak the feelings of the plants and the tropical fishes on behalf of the plants and the tropical fishes, and therefore the plants and the tropical fishes which do not utter words originally can be recognized as artificial pets which become sulky, cry and/or rejoice and attachment to them can be considerably enhanced.
