PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool capable of certainly fixing and retaining a fastener such as a screw even by nip force not causing damage to the fastener when correcting a bend of a shaft part of the fastener for example. SOLUTION: This tool has a pair of nip parts 11a, 11b pivotally supported to freely open and close by one-handed operation. At least one of the nip parts 11a, 11b is formed with at least one support reception hole 14 for insertion of the shaft part of the fastener while the other of the nip parts 11a, 11b is provided with a buffer adapter 15 for buffering deformation force applied to a head part to press and retain the head part of the fastener supported and received in the support reception hole 14 by a nip surface of the buffer adapter 15.
