PURPOSE: A vehicle trim mounting fastener is provided to be employed for various door panels of different thickness by changing a position of a fastener rib, thereby achieving the common use of the fastener. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle trim mounting fastener includes a fastener clip(11) for coupling to a panel and a fastener rib(12) for closely contacting the panel, wherein the fastener rib is separately formed from a main body of the fastener so that the position of the fastener rib is variable back and forth, wherein a plurality of holding protrusions(13) are formed on an outer periphery of the main body with a predetermined interval and holding grooves(14) of a number corresponding to the holding protrusions are formed on a periphery of an inner diameter of the fastener ribs to be inserted by the protrusions, so that the controlled position of the fastener rib is fixed.
