COLORED RUBBER COMPOSITION FOR TIRE

PURPOSE: A tire is provided, which comprises a surface coloring composition capable of being deposited on the surface of a tire without affecting the surface color and without the use of a barrier agent characteristically required by an antioxidizing agent. CONSTITUTION: The tire comprises a colored rubber composition with most of its polymer base formed of an essentially unsaturated diene elastomer. The colored rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of an elastomer; 100 parts by weight or more of an inorganic filler selected from the group consisting of titanium dioxide and zinc monoxide per phr; and 10 phr or less of sulfur. Optionally the rubber composition comprises further at least one coloring pigment, and/or at least one fluorescent whitening agent. Preferably the elastomer is a mixture of a natural rubber and polybutadiene.
