PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant olefin resin composition composed mainly of an olefin resin, free from a halogenated component, satisfying the standard flame-retardancy, suppressing the occurrence of foaming phenomenon caused by compounding a metal hydrate such as magnesium hydroxide to prevent the embrittlement of the olefin resin composition, suppressing the lowering of abrasion resistance and durability, having excellent mechanical strength such as tensile strength, enabling the improvement of processability and exhibiting improved tear resistance. SOLUTION: The objective composition is produced by compounding 100 pts.wt. of an olefin copolymer with 5-20 pts.wt. of a polymerized maleic anhydride resin, 5-20 pts.wt. of a butadiene-based thermoplastic elastomer, 50-200 pts.wt. of a metal hydrate and 0.05-5.0 pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent. |
