PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain foam capable of readily producing, in which high heat- insulating property is compatible with flame retardance while using a foaming agent having low environmental subject. SOLUTION: This method for producing a styrene-based resin extruded foam comprises using a non-halogen-based foaming agent as a foaming agent and including three kinds of a halogen-based flame retardance, a boric acid metal salt and a fatty acid metal salt into foam.
