PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a branch anchor driving device capable of smoothly driving a resistance plate into the ground in a short itme while applying downward pressure, and provide a chipping or hole excavating connection device using an auger pole erecting car or a chipping or hole excavating method using an auger pole erecting car capable of conducting chipping or hole excavating auxiliary work to a road surface or the like as well as chipping or excavating a hole for a pole or the like. SOLUTION: This device is composed of a branch anchor driving device comprising a pressure part 18, a vibration generating part 20, and a driving rod 22 provided with an engagement part 62 to be engaged with a base part 60 of a resistance plate 14 on the lower end side, and at a middle position of the driving rod 22, one or plural bend forming parts 54 for bending the driving rod 22 in the same direction as the bending direction of the resistance plate at least in driving it for driving it in a bent state are provided.
