PURPOSE: An apparatus for compressing waste matter is provided to smoothly carry out reciprocation of a main pressure piston and improve compression performance as well by reciprocating the main pressure piston with being cohered to the bottom surface of a compression chamber. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises guide grooves (60a) and guide protrusions (50a), which are formed on the underside of the main pressure piston (60) and the bottom surface of the compression chamber (50) in a moving direction of the piston (60), thereby being reciprocally united without any aperture so that foreign substances are not penetrated; lateral grooves (60b) and protrusions (50b), which are formed on the surface of both sides of the main pressure piston and the inner wall of both sides of the compression chamber (50), wherein the lateral grooves (60b) and protrusions (50b) are reciprocally united; a transferable cutter (81) installed at the upper front side of the main pressure piston (60); and a fixed cutter (82) corresponding to the transferable cutter (81) installed at the upper exit side of the compression chamber, wherein the fixed cutter (82) is not contacted with the transferable cutter when they are criss-crossed, and they are alternately installed with spaced apart from each other in a certain distance. |
