摘要 PURPOSE: A multi-channel vocoder allocation method of a CDMA system is provided to optimize a system performance by increasing an efficiency of a DSP process by preventing a call of a neighboring frame offset from being allocated in the same DSP based on a frame offset when allocating the vocoder. CONSTITUTION: A control station receives a call set request from a base station. The control station requests a call setting to a switch station and receives an allocated M-link. The M-link represents a link in which a PCM data is carried between the control station and the switch station. The control station requests a base station channel allocation and receives information allocated from the base station. A frame offset is included in the information(S100). The vocoder is allocated based on the allocated link and the frame offset transferred from the base station. A TSB(Transcoding Selector Bank) corresponding to the allocate link is searched, and a selector in which the number of the calls is smallest among the selectors corresponding to the allocated link so that the call is not concentrated into a certain selector is selected(S110). The number of the calls to which the same frame offset is allocated in one selector block is limited(S120), and a corresponding vocoder which satisfies the condition is searched and allocated so that the same or neighboring frame offset is not allocated in one DSP.
