ALLOY FOR HYDROGEN-PERMEABLE MEMBRANE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an alloy for a hydrogen-permeable membrane highly functional even in a high-temperature range to obtain hydrogen gas. SOLUTION: This alloy contains 3-15 atomic % at least one kind from among Tb, Dy, Ho and Er as rare-earth elements and the balance Pd with impurities. Accordingly, a high hydrogen-permeability is obtained as compared with the conventional membrane.
