PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which enables the recognition at one sight the transmission changing condition of a vehicle with a transmission capable of changing the transmission mode into an automatic mode or a semi-automatic mode mounted thereon. SOLUTION: When the transmission mode of the transmission is changed from the automatic mode to the semi-automatic mode, a green illumination lit by each light source 80a provided on a reverse side of a scaled panel 20a in changed over to an orange illumination lit by each light source 80b.
