PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ascending and descending table in which an interlocking shaft to operate engagedly raising and lowering mechanisms incorporated in the right and left legs does not project from the underside of the top board, the top board is reinforced without providing a projection in the underside of the top board and a conveyance means between the raising and lowering mechanisms and the interlocking shaft is not exposed outward. SOLUTION: An ascending and descending table A incorporating raising and lowering mechanisms 3 capable of regulating the height of the top board, synchronizing with each other by an interlocking shaft 28 provided horizontally along the underside 6 of the top board in right and left legs 2 supporting the top board 1 in which a channel member 40 is attached to a groove 39 formed horizontally in the underside of the top board and the interlocking shaft is stored in the channel member.
